Solid dependable kit

I only installed this last week, but it is exactly the way kit should be.
Install drivers, plug it in, plug in gear, fire up ableton and it all works exactly as it should do.
I'm using it via a cheap 10 port powered USB hub from China (with 6 ports running, mostly carrying midi from USB connected instruments) and my timing is all in and consistent.
I didnt need SMPTE sync, midi machine control, midi merge or pedal inputs, just a bunch of ports so older DIN MIDI only gear could have dedicated ports. It does this at half the price of the Micro Express and actually has 5 sets of ins/outs, not 4 (plus 2 extra outs)
I believe a lot of people buy the M-Audio MIDISport 4X4 which is 2/3rds of the price, but I read about some driver issues and couldn't be bothered fighting them so spent on the MOTU.

a good midi interface

it replaced both my worn M-audio midisport 2x2, that kept freezing up, and a yamaha yme-8. but I'm more dependant of a computer now, since the yme-8 was pure midi, with a wall wart power supply. Update: I have lost contact several times, but it only takes a disconnect & reconnect for a restart ;-)

Using it everyday in my midi based studio. Using a free patchbay midi software it starts to behave in a really powerful way.
Excellen quality, never a fault since 2010 when I bought it

Compacte mais puissante.

Ayant travaillé sur une M-Audio 2x2, je souhaitais une nouvelle interface beaucoup plus stable mais nomade.

Après avoir fouillé un petit peut, je me suis penché sur MOTU car je travaille déjà avec cette marque pour d'autres outils. Ce qui m'a tout de suite séduit, c'est le côté compact comme la MKIII Ultralite.

Utilisation : installation rapide et simple sur Mac (pas besoin des software si vous ne voulez pas bidouiller le MIDI), ergonomie très pratique mais surtout le plus de cette interface c'est la stabilité. J'ai mis tout ce que j'avais en studio au bout de la micro lite et pas une seule boucle midi qui vient t'embêter durant l'utilisation.

Caractéristique : 5 in/5 out. Il y a largement quoi faire et pas besoin d'achter un Merger à côté les IN sont super stables.

Fabrication : c'est MOTU donc solide.
