Excellent guitar,with great stock pickups in my opinion.
Neck is a joy to play,and finish is superb.
Half the money of a USA which I also own,and it's hard to see where that extra £600 goes aside from a case.
Can't recommend enough. Thomann as always were faultless.

Just unbelievable !

For almost a week I have now the Tele (compliment to Thomann: as always superschnell delivered), and had since then enough time to test the instrument in detail.

Fact 1: it's not my first fender, it's not my first telecaster, and I have a total of 12 guitars, Strat's, Tele's, Paula's, just quite traditional (and partial vintage) constructions. For the most part, instruments that were significantly more expensive than the telecaster from Mexico, which was rated here.

Fact 2: I usually know what I am talking about when I make a judgment about a guitar, about quality of production, playability and sound, because woodworking is my profession, I've been playing guitar for 35 years, and mostly boutique equipment.
And now it comes:
This Telecaster skinmichum !!!

On none of my instruments I feel more comfortable, I feel more vibration in the wood, on no I have more joy and spontaneity!
The thing is the hammer, and I do not know why. Have I accidentally caught a special piece, so to speak the opposite of a montag guitar? Did the Mexicans happen to have a particularly good day? Does this guitar or the singlecoils happen to be even better to my equipment than anything else I have?

I dont know. I just can not get out of the happy grin.
Already the logarithmic volume control is the hit. What is free on a totally practical, intentionally uneven path of sound diversity and dynamics is unbelievable. Amp, or bass pedal to maximum tune - if so wanted - and then control all the phases of a song from almost superclean to wide tartboard only (and exclusively !!!) with the volume pot on the tele during the game. And the whole almost without volume loss. Dynamic, harmonious and, above all, musical, it never goes!
Making music, your own head desire sound, your own taste, etc. are always very personal things or habits.

But with this guitar at the price is at Fender something in the very best sense totally wrong. Or have I really only had lucky luck here? I dont know. I only know that there are guitars in the assortment of this company (Strat or Tele), which cost five times, but me much less "upset" in the most beautiful sense, than this Mexico Telecaster described here.

The Fender price / quality / sales / marketing or whatever policy I will in the future no longer try to understand.
Super quality (only the saddle notches a little deeper), pickup and poti's a dream of flexibility and sound diversity, neck profile / frets / playability in my opinion extremely well.

All in all the pure playfulness for smoky Bluesrock and all Drumherum. If I want the Strat typical Hendrix or SRV sound, then I must also take a Strat, which is clear. But for literally anything else, this telecaster is a dream!
