I use this on a home drum kit used for practice and rehearsals. This snare skin is solid and does the job. I am not a full time drummer but was recommended this skin for my snare. I got it and I am not disappointment. I can see it lasting a long time as I wont be putting it through and strenuous playing.

P
Deep punchy sound
Peter7602 01.12.2014
This head gives a deep punchy sound and is easy to tune. It has a bit to big difference between hiting "the spot" and the area between the spot and the rim. Almost sounds like two different heads soundwise. I prefer a more gradual transition of the sound... not so much a on/of feeling.

Clear, great overtones control. i use it on a 14" x 7" brass snare and the sound is warm and full, without annoying resonances. use it in combo with the moon gel!!!
