Excellent
19.03.2014
I use this with a Fender 5150III 50-watt amplifier head. I put the amps preamp into the external preamp loop of the F1 pedal. I can then switch between the clean channel of the pedal, and the distortion of the amp. It works brilliantly, and is the best work around for the 5150III's volume issue that I know.

The F1 sounds like a Fender amp. It stays clean all the way through the gain range, even with high output pickups. It is a great platform for putting other distortion pedals before it. You can even go out into a poweramp and have a very convincing Fender combo sound.

I was massively impressed with the EQ. It's very usable, and musical sounding. You can really crank the highs without it getting too fizzy, and there are plenty of lows here.

AMT F1 preamp
tallman, 30.07.2017
this is excellent and all analogue for warm amp tones and is a cost effective way to use a no amp setup. The AMT F1 is very efficient as regards the eq and output that will go into a mixing desk, you will not have any problems with tonal adjustment or producing a loud clean sound and the speaker emulation captures a great 2 x 12 speaker setup. It has a very natural and organic sound with all applications and it has great possibilities for any sound you might imagine, every type of amp setting you can realise is here. There is also plenty of volume to overcome any discrepancy for a weak lifeless sound; this is one of the most reasonable and and best sounding preamps out there.

Guter Cleaner Preamp
sanlight, 08.08.2017
