Pros;
+ Steady, firm and reliable ? i can play without worrying whether my Crash is gonna come crashing down on my toms during a massive drum fill or a heavy groove.
+ Simple and easy to set up and use.
+ Compact, doesn?t take up much space. I have lots of hardware to move when touring and seting up for a gig, so huge, heavy gear for me is a nightmare.
Cons;
+ It might be a softer composition of metals or bigger thread pitch, but be careful with those tension locks, be careful no to over-tighten, or they will ware out pretty quick! The locks are good so no need for maximum tighening. But that goes for all gear, pretty much! Be gentle :)
+ I, personally, wouldn?t recommend stacking these boom stands with extra clamps and boom arms. You?ll need a heavy duty base for that. Overloading these will result in dents and lack of steadiness.
Summary;
To buy or not to buy? ? Yes! Definately worth investing in!

-No major brand can deliver the same quality for the price. The difference is the 'smoothness' of adjustment. Stability is just as good as of 30-40 euro more expensive analogs.
Cons:
-Nylon and rubber parts look cheap (well, they are actually, no surprise).
-Looks like it's sensitive to overtightening the screws. With the proper use it would last years though.
Overall it's a great option for holding 1-2 cymbals. Totally worth the price.

They're cheap, but the quality is amazing. They feel robust, can manage heavy cymbals (Although I've not tested them with a ride bigger than 20", but I'm sure they'd handle it) and they're very adjustable. I still have to find one negative thing about them.

So far it had a few gigs and rehearsals and didn`t have any problems at all, let`s see how it stands by the test of time. So far so good.

for even the most tour hungry drummer. While this series only has 2-tier tube sections, as opposed to the slightly more expensive but unparalleled 900 series,
and slightly thinner legs, the durability is matched, with high quality chrome finish,
solid boom arm, which can be stored away in the main stand tubing, for both storage purposes and the ability to convert the stand into a straight one.
Mine had worked like a dream for over 3 years of regular gig/recording use,
while also having the added weight of a clamp/additional boom arm to house an additional splash cymbal. Only selling recently due to a kit sale,
needing a hardware pack.

Jelentés beküldése Automatikus fordítás (Eredeti megjelenítése) Eredeti értékelés (Fordítás megjelenítése) I bought two of these boom stands when I first started upgrading my beginner drum kit as they were only £25 for a heavy duty cymbal stand. these stand can handle most weight put on them, for example; at one point I had two Tom drums (12 & 13") and a 18" china on one stand before and there was no noticeable movement.
Nearly 6 years later and countless pack downs & set ups later they are still as strong as the day I bought them!
If you want cymbal stands that wont cost much but will last three times their worth, these are the ones to get!

Each part of this stand feels and looks ergonomically and aesthetically pleasing.
This is only a two tier stand and as a result those drummers who like high cymbals might struggle to get them perfectly placed. They may also run into issue with stability also as coupling the short boom issue with the full extended 2 tier issue can cause some problem in this way.
Overall these stands have to be one of the of most economical purchases I can think of. It has such a low price while having the look, feel and quality of stands 3 times the price that it has made me question the pricing on other stands. I wise purchase for those limited on cash.

I don't think my drummer would need a more expensive stand ever. This one is perfect for rehearsing and heavy gigging (trust me, he is a heavy player and the stand remains like new after months of use and abuse).
Nice chrome finish and really easy to set up.

It's very stable and holds it's own alongside £70 - £90 boom stands by the bigger companies. Although it's basic in design, it does the job, and hasn't failed me once.
There's no flex or twist in the legs, and the boom connection isn't the type to burst apart suddenly if you unscrew too far - terrible in the dark on stage. I found overall the build quality is great, and each joint functions really well. I particularly like the wing-nuts being slightly indented and textured. Helps a lot getting it broken down quickly after a show.
In summary - definitely worth the money!

I use very small and light cymbals, so they'll do the job for me, but forget trying to use one of these with a heavy weight cymbal, I just don't think it'd hack it.
Shame, as the price is good but I guess this is a case of get what you pay for - I'd look to spend a little more.

several weeks later, and many a drummer later, this 'trial stand' is as strong, smart and shiny as ever while laughing off any drummers abuse from jazz to death metal.
Totally unexpected but easily on the same terms as much more expensive stands like Pearl.
Definitely looking at replacing my own hardware with more millennium items
