Excellent dampening without killing the tone
I bought the 4-ring pack, but mainly for the 14" to use on my rather too ringy brass snare. Works perfectly, cutting enough overtone without deadening the sound, and much easier to use than fiddling around with moongels or similar muffling techniques.
I like that they are only 1" wide, as I've found wider ones can over-deaden the sound, especially in a live situation.
Quality seems great - thick enough to stand some handling.
I would also use these on toms with single ply heads.

this set comes with a 8inch ring included, this is more ideal for the drumer who has an 8 inch tom, quality is it lays on tom head and doesnt hop around, unless yu are hitting very very hard, i mean very hard.

Great Sound
I bought a Mapex Mars Edition kit. The toms sounded very tinny even with some fine tuning.
I put these on the kit and it now sounds exactly how i hoped.

Dose the job
These rings give pretty heavy muffling for your toms. For my snare, I liked gel muffing better, but for toms, this is the best stuff.

Terrific !
It's an amazing thing !!! I put them on my Onyx chrome and everything changed . Instantly unwanted overtones were transformations in the music !!! I recommend this product !

Excellent damping
Very happy with these - we're using a Mapex meridian birch kit with Evans G2 or Aquarian heads, and this makes them sound like they should! Better than moongel, in my view.
