It is a good replacement for an acustic piano for a learner as well as a good midi keyboard for the more advanced player/composer. As a replacement for piano it has GHS keyboard that mimics very well the touch of piano keys.
Basically all the reviews for DGX 650 apply to 660 beside the extras you get for the Microphone and the Grand Piano room and lid choices.
Things I already tried: 1. Learning how to play with Synthesia app. 2. Learning how to play reading the score on the screen. The keyboard will wait on the note till you hit the right key. It will also show the right key to hit.
Other things to consider that I haven't tested yet: 1. 6 track song recorder 2. microphone input with gain knob.
Unfortunately there was an error. Please try again later.
I have always played Yamaha Pianos. As successor of my old DGX 620 I was looking forward to the great Yamaha DGX 660.In the Internet "clever" made.Demos and other viewed and heard, I was sure this is it, And nothing else. I also want to say that the most important thing to me is the Yamaha Pianos of the piano or the Flugelsound.Microphone input ..Aux in ..etical sounds..alles nice and good, but the Flügelsound is for me the most important, since I Among other things also a Harfistin accompanied and the whole also great sound. I'm really disappointed with the grand piano sound and everything in this direction goes. All other sounds please, but what good is it to me ... I will use it for rehearsal, but I OK but a concert with it I once dared And will not do it any more. As I said, it may be that many consider it to be great, I unfortunately do not.
