Tuning stability of Wilkinson VS100N BK Tremolo

It works well when the unit sits at an angle of circa 20 degree to the body of the guitar. Even dive bombs return to the original tuning. However, I tried a set up (which I would prefer), where the base plate of the Tremelo unit is nearly horizontal. In this set up there are two return positions. One is very out of tune. It would appear that there are two edges of the "blade". This could be quite clearly seen on my tuner. I could repeatedly get it to return to one or the other.

Sogar die Bodybolzen kann man mit einer innen liegenden Madenschraube fixieren. Die Gängigkeit des Hebels kann man auch einstellen. Das Tremolo wirkt grazil, hat aber eine ordentliche Masse. So ist das Sustain OK. Das Handballengefühl ist homogen. Nur die Nähe des Hebels nervt mich (wie immer).
Für Squier-ähnliche Klampfen:
Das Ding ist ziemlich tief. Bei mir steht es vorn einige Millimeter heraus, um hinten bündig zu sein (den Downtuning "Anschlag" hab ich im Body mit einem Stück Hartgummi gemacht)
Also: Wenn die Bodyhülsen richig gesetzt sind und der Sattel stimmt usw, ist dieses Tremolo an Verstimmungen schuldlos...

Eingebaut und eingestellt von Thomann, hat es auf Anhieb perfekt funktioniert. Trotz frischen Seiten so gut wie keine Verstimmungen am Anfang und schon gar nicht nach einer Woche Nutzung.

War zuerst etwas "enttäuscht", dass die Sättel keine Rädchen haben, dies erwies sich jedoch als überhaupt kein Problem. Nutze das Tremolo schon sehr oft aber nicht exzessiv, kann deswegen nicht viel dazu sagen, was passiert, wenn man das Tremolo mißhandelt, aber 1,5-ton Bends oder Dive Bombs lassen das Tremolo unbeeindruckt, keine Locking-Tuner.

Die Verarbeitung ist Spitze, habe aber nichts anderes bei dem Preis erwartet. Mit der Madenschraube kann man den Arm sehr präzise arretieren.

Zusammenfassend kann ich sagen, dass ich mit dem 2-Punkt von Wilkinson mehr Spaß als mit dem Floyd Rose habe. Funktion ähnlich, Handhabung wesentlich leichter.
