Only found this by accident Via auction site.....didn't win it! But i had a look around the net and did my research. Tiggers / midi, black or silver knobs, what a choice. I decided to go with the stanard unit, not knowing at the time too much about what the tiggers did and had nothing to tigger it with! Roll on a few days....... rushing to the door for delivery (which i must say, all the way from Germany was excellent) didn't spare no time on getting it outta the box and having a good look at it......
What a well made item it really is! All there products are the same high quality.
Hooked it up to my MC sequencer and works a dream via the midi input. It does have a wide range of drum sounds in its 8 drum parts. When putting it though a mixing desk and EQing each seprate sound makes a huge difference to the MK III,
abit of distortion here abit of echo there and some mild reverb! Plus use it with a filter for even more possibilities. There is nothing more i can say about this great unit of analog goodness! Thank you Vermona. Thank you Thomann!

Awesome sound if you work hard at it

Beautiful unit. Tank solid, all metal construction with quality encoders. Well built chassis no concerns when mounted into rack. Awesome all analog sounds. Beeps and blips and heavy bass and snappy claps and snares, The inserts are vital. Whilst the basic sounds are very stong they are raw and need modifying. Using the Y cable inserts allows you to add effects to individual drum sounds. MIDI implementation is very simple. Lots of knobs to tweak but since they are all analog there is no way to store sounds. This is very annoying as you can't even export the data as MIDI.The only way to store them is to get a pen and paper. I use my smartphone to take a pic of settings I like so I can get back to them. This is a niche piece of equipment, pricey for the lack of features, you can buy a full featured workstation for the same money. But the sounds it makes are awesome, and cannot be replicated digitally, whatever the synths makers say...!
