Zweck dieses Blattes war bei mir technische Übungen am Sax mit einem möglichst hohen "Luftwiderstand" durchzuführen.Da mir keine noch härteren Blätter bekannt sind habe ich die Classic 5 genommen. ==> Somit Zweck voll und ganz erfüllt.

Es sollte jedoch jedem klar sein dass man bei Ansprache, Sound und Variabilität bei so einem "Pfosten zwischen den Zähnen" Abstriche machen muss.

Mir ist aufgefallen dass die Spitze des Blattes leicht einreisst bzw. dass kleine Stücke ziemlich schnell herausbrechen. Liegt vielleicht daran dass bei diesem Blatt alles mit grösserem Kraftaufwand gemacht werden muss. :D

Para boquillas cerradas

Las uso para clásico con un tenor Yamaha YTS-62 de los 90, una boquilla Vandoren T27 (de las boquillas más cerradas de Vandoren) y una abrazadera BG standard de cuero. Se consigue un sonido redondo y oscuro. Eso si, obviamente cuesta hacer matices suaves sobre todo en el registro grave del saxo, pero es cuestión de trabajarlo. Probé con cañas del 4 y 4 y medio, pero con mi boquilla se ablandaban en poco tiempo. Es una alternativa al típico material de Vandoren de siempre (T20 y cañas del 3 o 3 y medio). No lo recomiendo para música contemporánea con matices extremos, en ese caso es mejor usar algo más flexible.

Ahora tengo otro saxo, un Yanagisawa T-WO20 y estoy probando otro tipo de material, pero de vez en cuando vuelvo a usar esta combinación que no va nada mal.
