Does the job for me
Zubb 03.11.2020
Bought this with PJ-74 for home practising using headphones. It works very well for this. The amp is plastic and feel a bit cheap. The initial charging took 2-3 hours.
I usually keep the Tone full on and the Gain full off and adjust the Volume only. The sound is decent, but you will get a lot of noise at higher volumes (but I don't need to get there for my practising or playing with music through AUX).
The Tone control seem to have less effect than the one on my bass (so I am mainly using that instead).
I don't much like the Gain control as well (sounds too artificial to me, but I am playing mostly styles where you don't need too much drive). The very same applies to the chorus/reverb.
The battery indicator LEDs seem too bright to me and might be disturbing in darker conditions (I also think that they might drain the battery quite a lot).
I love the ability to recharge the amp and not having to mess with batteries. I usually start recharging when 1st of the LEDs goes off - you then have roughly an hour of playing left.
The AUX works as expected and is a great feature to practice with music or phone/PC metronome.
Overall the device does what I wanted it to do and I am quite happy with the purchase.

AS
Compact amplifier
Aleksandr Shtein 12.06.2021
I got this amplifier for bass to make music and not disturb anyone. Liked that it charges through the wire, rather than changing batteries. Energy is enough for about a week of classes for 1-2 hours a day. The indicators are very bright. In addition to headphones, a smartphone is connected (cable included), it is convenient to play your favorite music.
When playing, I make the volume all the way and add a little gain. It makes a lot of noise at the maximum. The sound is resounding, all rustles, ringing and pulling along the strings are clearly audible.
Bottom line: a good solution for a compact amplifier, but the sound in a combo amplifier is more correct.

Good quality, low price
Tommy Collas 17.07.2020
This is a very nice Headphone Amp.
When is was looking for one i first wanted to buy the more expensive Vox Amplifier because "expensive is mostly better than cheap".
Well i took the gamble and went for the Valeton Rushhead Bass.
Waauw what a good sound, off course together with good headphones.
It even has an FX, nothing fancy, just adds a little effect to the sound.
Battery life is long enough, almost played for 2 weeks at least an hour/day.
I really love to play with this amp for practicing loud when i need to be quiet..... and playing along with songs thanks to the AUX

I expected more.

I didn't like the amp, I tried all my 5 bucks - "plastic" sound, not bass at all. There are very few low frequencies, although this may be why the sound is legible. I took two pieces - for myself and a friend, a friend has about the same rating. We thought it would be better. Very sorry...
