I bought this tuner for my classical guitar to ensure that I was in tune when travelling (where I did not have access to an online tuner).
Pros: The tuner itself is simple with good viewing angles from both the front and back of the headstock and a firm clip ensuring that the tuner will not slip.
The Screen is bright enough to be seen outdoors if necessary.
The tuner has several modes for different instruments allowing faster tuning as it only allows you to tune to certain notes (the pitches of the strings).
Cons: The tuner has only one button: the power button. This is used not only to turn the tuner on/off, but also to cycle through the tuning modes. It would have been nicer to have a separate button for this, even if it added to the size of the tuner.
The modes are indicated by a single letter: C, G, B, V and U. While this may be ok for an experienced musician, beginners and those with less experience may be confused by this and struggle to tune if they do not realise they are in the wrong tuning mode.
Overall, as a guitarist, this tuner is simple enough to use and provides a quick way to tune my instrument. It can be kept on the back of my classical guitar's headstock as the tuning pegs point backwards, meaning it doesn't get lost in my room or in my bag!
