Not living up to expectations

I purchased this instrument about nine months ago, and wished now, that I had made another choice. A bottle of valve oil had a loose cap and had leaked into the case without causing damage. When I reported this I was asked to send photos of the bottle. Where I had purchased instruments before would have taken my word for it. Within weeks a small screw had fallen from the instrument, and I was unable to find where it came from. There is no serial number on the instrument, which does not help security if one wanted to report it stolen or lost. The main bugbear is that the extra slide with additional keys is so loose that it continually slides out of place and has to be secured with blue tack or sellotape. I previously had an intermediate Yamaha rotary, and very much regret selling it.

Nach zuletzt sehr guten Erfahrungen mit in China bzw. Taiwan gefertigten Instrumenten (Carol Brass) und den sehr guten Bewertungen hier habe ich mir dieses Instrument schicken lassen. Die Verarbeitung ist in Ordnung, ein Stimmbogen mit Überblasklappen ist beigelegt. Die Ventile laufen generell gut, Trigger ist vorhanden. Habe das Instrument dann in einer Probe angetestet und gegen andere Drehventilinstrumente (allerdings wesentlich teurere Instrumente sehr namhafter Hersteller) verglichen und bin zum Ergebnis gekommen, dass ich lieber entweder deutlich mehr Geld in die Hand nehme und ein tolles Instrument habe oder mir was Gebrauchtes zu einem nicht wesentlich höheren Preis kaufe. Für ein Instrument dieser Kategorie aus China finde ich den Preis zu hoch. Habe es zurückgeschickt.

- Ausstattung: Trigger mit großer Daumenauflage für 3. Zug, zweiter Stimmbogen mit C- und A Klappe, Wasserklappe als F Klappe, robuster Doppelkoffer)

Contra:
- Das C- und A-Klappengestänge ist etwas zu hoch angebracht und die Auflage für den kleinen Finger sollte breiter sein.

Ich habe das Instrument jetzt fast eine Woche und es macht immer mehr Spaß.
Im Vergleich zu meiner alten YTR734 ist es eine ziemliche Umstellung. Ich habe den Eindruck, dass die Classica II leichter zu beherrschen ist.
