Thomann 10H Ocarina C3 Meissen Design
10-Hole Concert Ocarina
These Ocarinas in the Meissen porcelain-design are true-to-the-original replicas of ocarinas produced around the turn of the century from the famous Meissen porcelain with its well-known pattern. Rare originals, which are located in the Ocarina Museum in Oberkappel (Austria), were used as templates.
Model: Concert C3 ocarina with 10 holes is a special longer model. The C3 is very common in Alpine folk music. The range of this ocarina sits in the medium-high end of the scale, predominantly in the 2nd and 3rd octave with C-major fingering and a C-major sound. This longer version sounds somewhat more uniform and even in comparison to the standard version and the large hole spacing makes it ideal for (very) large hands.
