Great bass head
Jörn887, 27.08.2013
I've had this amp head for over 2 years now, and it has seen lots of rehearsals and gigs. No issues with it thus far, it has performed perfectly.

The feature set of this amp is just stunning - the four band semi-parametric EQ is very versatile, the three memory presets are great (you can also adjust the preset level for each preset), tweetertone opens it up a little up top. Tubetone isn't my thing, but for players who like a bit of dirt and drive it is cool.

The RH series amps were designed to somewhat mimic a tube amp pushed through a sealed cabinet. Just like a tube amp/sealed cab setup it won't deliver much in the sub-lows. This for most players is no sacrifice, but it tends to get a bit mushy in the lows when driven hard in my experience. The upside to this is that it gets really, really loud.

The amazing EQ makes it easy to dial in almost whatever you want. When left flat it leans to the vintage side to my ear, with a bit of extra in the low mids. The clarity is great right out of the box.

This amp has made my gigging life so much easier - it sounds amazing, and I can leave my pedal tuner and comp pedal at home. :)

Superb Class D Amp
Onepack, 01.04.2020
I won't ramble on or discuss all the features, there are plenty of reviews already that do that. There has been some sort of controversy regarding TC's measurement of power output. I can tell you this - I play through a Barefaced (best cab in the world), 1200w 2x12 and boy can this thing get loud. I usually play with the volume set around 2 or 3. That takes care of that. I love the presets as I play 24 Fret and a 20 fret and also a fretless, all 5 stringers. I can set up the sound I want for each and just press a preset button, or in my case hit the button on the footswitch. Definitely get the footswitch. the amp is very light but not only that, you don't need a compression pedal or a tuner - both included. The only downside I can think of is that more illumination is required on the front panel i.e. the names of the controls. Can be difficult in a dark setting.
IT'S MY LAST AMP, say no more.

TC Electronic RH 750
Crosbinator, 01.12.2019
The RH 750 handles so well as a quiet, light and highly suitable bass amp for any situation. The layout and features of the amp are excellent and I'm especially impressed with the headphone-practice set up on the rear. All the usual features (tone controls gains, input gain and master) are responsive and accurate in sculpting your tone as handy 'Shift function' allowing you a mode to sweep through the different band further sculpting your tone. Three memory functions are easy to use on the fly (as I use an upright this is a key motivation for working on this amp) which corresponds to the RC-4 tuner/remote controller. The handy Memory Preset level (adjusting or equalizing the preset levels between memory patches) is another handy feature if using multi-instruments. Although not used a lot, the Tubetone is a very nice tube simulation feature especially for a slight light touch. SpectraComp in-built compressor is great. One-dial ease of use, get your setting and forget about it. However, I bought the amp with the Combo450 cab (with cavity). I noticed that the cooling fans kick in much more with the amp in the cab as opposed to externally mounted on the cab. No problems with sound or performance.

Stunning Sound - Small Package!
Greg O., 21.05.2014
I bought this for its portability. We fly to most shows that we play and I needed something lightweight. I always thought that there would have to be a significant compromise in the quality of sound that I would be able to create - compared to my practice room rig (Ampeg Classic). This arrived very well packaged and frighteningly light! I really did wonder if they had forgotten to put it in the box!

From Germany to my house in England in under 4 days...fantastic service that I have come to expect from Thomann.

I opened it up...it looks very VERY sleek and high end. It is ALL metal apart from the front surface that holds the displays and knobs. I expected plastic but this is of a very high construction quality.

Does it sound like my classic through an 8x10? I think I have achieved a sound 90% of the way there...and this is easily good enough when you consider that I can have that sound anywhere I go...and it stays in my carry on/hand luggage!

I have a dirty and furious sound and when I have been exploring what this amp can do I remembered the online demos that Mark King did...I can dial that tone in and get a great pop/slap bass sound. It works well on active and passive basses. I still have to try recording direct via the aes output but I expect it to be just as good as every other feature.

Stunning...still can't quite believe how good it is!
