RO
Cheap tape delay with one major flaw.
Rasmus Olesen 11.05.2018
The effect itself sounds nice, and not digital/processed, as is often the case with cheaper digital pedals.
The 3 knobs are also useful to the degree one would expect from a delay pedal.
It is built like a tank and the top mounted jacks is a very nice feature which can save space on a pedal-board.

But the pedal suffers from some major design flaws.

General for all the TC pedals in this line is the foot-switch. It is a chassis mounted switch which activates an electronic switch on the board itself. And the pedal turns on and off on switch release, which is weird.

The Mod switch does next to nothing... which is a shame.

The worst issue of them all is the volume drop. When the pedal is turned on, the entire signal drops significantly (6db-9db probably). Which unfortunately makes the pedal next to useless unless you combine it with a dedicated boost pedal, or run it before enough gain, that it won't be noticeable.

This is a shame since the effect itself sounds really nice.

Kinda Brian-May'ish thing
Dmitry Sukonkin 22.02.2022
Well, i use it now just like i planned to: to recreate this Queen live repeating guitar parts to make overdubs (play over repeating phrase, the pedal does this one repeat thing). The sound is warm and not artificial at all. I would recommend this pedal.

great value
swarleys 31.01.2019
this is of course, nothing like a real tape echo, but still does a very nice echo sound, with the option of modulating the repeats to simulate old tape in the machine. Overall I would definitely recommend this as build quality is excellent, sounds are highly usable, and it has insipred me to play more

Very nice analog delay
Nick thomaidis 27.11.2021
I really really like it! It has a carbon copy vibe to it but my only complaint is that when you turn it off it kills right away all the delay tails, which could ruin the atmosphere you created with it
