Great pedal
Bamboozled, 11.10.2017
For a few weeks now, I have extensively tested the Tremotron in the rehearsal room and on stage and here I summarize the (for me personally) most important impressions.

1. I find it ingenious to have complete control over the tremolo waveform. With the shape slider, you can choose between the usual shapes (sine, saw forward and backward, square, etc.) and also superimpose them. Does not sound good in every combination, but it can be experimented with.

2. The sound of the effect sounds extremely "warm". Have not found a better sounding tremolo pedal yet.

3. With an expression pedal you can control every pot of your choice. Unfortunately, the tap tempo switch loses its function.

4. The workmanship looks very good and gives the impression over a long period of time to withstand everyday musicianship. Only lack of processing: The switch for the presets wobbles easily (therefore only 4 stars). But since it still works completely and I control the whole thing via MIDI I do not care about it for now ...

Of course it is not exactly cheap ... but if you value a clean and warm sounding tremolo you should at least play the Tremotron :-)

Perfect - with a huge problem ...
Andi Saitenhieb, 18.10.2017
Too bad. This pedal could be the absolute blast. Top sound, high-end processing, loads of features like MIDI (sync, save & recall presets ...), dual-tremolo, different wave-forms, presets, tap-tempo, subdivision - currently only two tremolo pedals are comparable in this respect: Sonuus Voluum and Electro Harmonix Super Pulsar.

BUT:
The tone and volume controls are obviously passive. So it's only possible to turn up treble and volume. This makes sense with the Tone, but at the volume this is a bad joke with a tremolo pedal, because the effect makes the signal quieter anyway and the good Tremolo pedals therefore usually have a regulator, with which one loses the volume can compensate.
After repeated email contact with the manufacturer it is clear:
The option of battery operation will not be there (too bad, that would have been my other improvement) and the volume problem is known, has been revised before (it was ever worse depending on the power supply) and who wants to compensate for the loss of volume, should still stop Buy boost pedal.
My Opinion: Then you have to press two buttons when switching on the Tremolo (live a no-go) and besides that can not be the case with a pedal of this price range.

Conclusion:
Too bad, this pedal could have been the Oberknaller, so it is at least not useful live.
