I've carted these all over the UK and used them for simple uplighting at a garden party through to drum lights in a rock rig and even theatre house lights. The yoke is drilled so they can be bar mounted as well as floor standing.
these par 64 cans from Thomann are overall very good quality and rugged construction. Nice finish to them, good features of double yoke allowing them to be rigged or sat on the stage or on top of speaker stacks etc. Good quality ceramic, sprung gel frame holder and square filter frame supplied! They even come with a good quality rigging secondary safety bond wire fitted and bolted to the yoke of the PAR can. Will take either CP type PAR lamps or raylight reflectors to enable you to use lamps with GY9.5 bases like the halogen lamps commonly used in theatre Fresnel luminaires etc. when first used there was a bit of a burning smell but that was expected with all PAR cans to burn any excess paint or manufacturing residues off the unit. The only down side to these that I would improve on them would be to have a rotatable lamp socket similar to in the Thomas PAR cans or a PARsafe. And also these cans do have a lot of vent holes in the rear of the cans which can be a bit annoying when the audience can see the rear of the PAR can all lit up which would especially be a pain in a theatre but otherwise very good and another quality product bought from Thomann
