Simple but effective

I've been using these clamps for 20 years - you can place it on or off by squeezing with one hand, but once its in place, you can rotate it to adjust the tension. Saves so much fiddling with wingnuts at the end of the gig. And the round base holds the cymbal lightly but evenly, and covers less of the bell.
This version has the slightly smaller thread for 6mm stands. It will squeeze onto an 8mm stand and hold firm, but its harder to remove.

Works as described but too bulky for my liking

The sonor cymbal clamp does what it says and works great if you have rather large cymbals such as 18"+ but for 16" crashes and cymbals of a smaller size I found it held them too tightly and almost choked the sound. I have also on occasion managed to loosen this my riding constantly on the 16" cymbal.
