Genius Tom Studio Mic !!

I use 5 SM27 for the recorden of my TomToms (3 Racktoms, 2 Floor). So far I have recordet with much cheaper microphones, since I thought - sounds good - but I was nevertheless never satisfied with the signals. The conversations were terribly noisy and muddy and since I did not gate, it was always a bit tricky to mix the toms. Now a solution had to come and this was SHURE, and I did not regret it! Even as a professional you never learn. :-)

The sound of the toms is simply FAT without any processing! (Good drum and good pre amp). There are conversations one has here, but they are so small and so clean, that you can make the toms simply loud without the conversations all stuffing! The EQ has become a children's play and the whole set sounds much more natural and homogeneous.
As overheads I use SHURE KSM32, Kick Beta52, Snares SM57, Hats KSM137. Altogether I drive 16 ch. With drumrecording and all in all one has with these Mics an absolute professional sound, which one can sell. OFFICIALLY!

Very clear purchase recommendation for all the one pro. Want to have sound!
