Shubb C7b Partial Capo

My first experiments with a partial capo!

One suggestion is to use it the "Wrong way round", so that it presses the D-G-B strings, second fret at the treble side, thereby giving true open A. Nice easy start, and I have a good selection of slides at the ready!

I have two other Shubb capo's C1 and C4, and this is up to the expected high standard of manufacture. The Gold/Brass finish is different, but should make it easier to identify this capo from the others.

I bought this as a replacement for a partial capo I had made myself out of a cut up Jim Dunlop capo with a few bits of bicycle tyre glued on. I had stability problems with this homemade design but it did ok. However when I seen Thomann had these in stock I ordered one up right away. I play in altered tunnings a lot and sticking the partial capo on opens up other sounds and possibilities. Shubb have done a good job producing a solid piece of kit. No problems with use at all.

I tried this device on different guitars in different settings. Sometimes surprising things turned out from which my brain went beyond reality.)
