Best Tele Bridge Pickup Full Stop....
TheLobster 04.11.2017
after years of revisiting Teles and then selling them due to hating the piercing bridge pickup sound....then buying them again and trying just about every pickup out there....FINALLY invested in one of these ...and Im blown away.
What the problem has been in the past is ....normal pickups which are just as piercing.....or mini humbuckers which have no character and change the tele into something its not. Somehow this Vintage Stack manages to keep all the good bits of the Tele sound....but beef it up enough to give you the depth and variety to cover all types of music.
Cannot recommend this enough.

BI
The usual Duncan quality
Benjamin I. 27.02.2022
It was to improve a Squier Affinity. The diagram is clear and soldering went easily, the mounting screws fit the standard bridge without any problem. The wires are long enough to reach the pots and selector even if the plate is inverted, as mine is. The tone is both more powerful and much quieter but especially better in beauty, warmer with more of everything, harmonics, punch, transparency, the whole squad.

Compared to Fender Noiseless pickups this one kept a tiny little bit of hum, but maybe because the Fender set is delivered with high quality pots, resistor and capacitors. The residual hum is not annoying at all, just an piece of info I add because the techies out there want to know every detail.

My Affinity has those little cheap pots, I'll probably replace them next time I change the strings, quality pots cost only a few euros more than low-end pots so it's worth doing and they will surely be more durable.

Totally fine pickup and recommended for any use, it's hot enough for metal with high gain distortions.

Perfect noiseless twang
Anonymous 21.02.2015
I got this pickup to put into an 85 Tokai T model. It is an Ash body with maple neck and fingerboard. I found the pickup to be very full sounding across the whole frequency range with a very string upped mid presence that meant it never sounded thin or brittle. It is totally noiseless (in practical terms) and yet still manages to sound just like a telecaster at all times. It takes gain much better than regular singles but never loses the tele character that's so important. I use this with 500k pots as it is technically a humbucker so remember that if you're planning on getting one. Overall a very versatile professional sounding pickup and great value

F
Tele sounding with no hum noise great bridge pickup!
Filipep 11.10.2018
Well building a tele kit decided to get a pickup with no hum noise but with the ?traditional? look and sound. Being a fan of other brand for year(yes that one starting with DiM..) I decided to give Seymour Duncan a try and I must admit it was a great choice.
Pros: The package was perfect and the first impresion was of a high quality product. Screws and springs included and s very useful installation manual with graphics showing parallel and series wiring options. I went for the non splitting humbucker full mode and soldered all as instructed and very easy to do my friend.
The sound is amazing very tele classic and well defined nice highs that sings, middle well defined and bass notes delivering a hot punch and snap but with all the clarity so you do not get muddy and all notes sounds clear and well defined.
Cons: Nothing as this pickup fits perfectly into my bluesy jazzy playing style.
I use clean crunch and heavy overdrive/distortion and as mentioned this is a pickup of great deffinition so you better play good because each nuance of your playing will be amplified but do not worry is a great pickup with a very sensitive rate so you can play very loud and distorted and will sound clear and powerful and if you turn your volume down it cleans nice so you have plenty of sounds in it and with no hum noise so great for the studio and live performance.
Sum up: If you want a tele bridge with warm deffinition and no single coil noise go for it you will be surprised how singlecoilish it it but with the quietness so you can only play and do not worry about anything else! Thank you Thomann again for another great pickup??
