Rock-solid!

I bought this to replace the stock hoop on my Tama 10x5,5 Metalworks snare, as it was going out of tune constantly while playing and I was denting the hoop with rimshots. This hoop is extremely solid and can take all of the punishment from rimshots. Together with some Tama lug-locks, this snare is now locked in, I don't have to worry about the tuning changing at all!

Meine bevorzugten Spannreifen!

Ich verwende auf meinen persönlichen Sets schon lange S-Hoops. Sie sorgen für eine Klang zwischen Stahlspannreifen und Gussreifen, sind steifer und die Trommel lässt sich dadruch leichter stimmen und es klingt einfach besser. Das ist natürlich subjektiv. Da ich neulich ein Sonor Accent Snare in 10x5 mit schwarzer Chromhardware erworben habe, war klar, dass da auch ein schwarzer S-Hoop drauf muss. Leider ist es nur ein Mattschwarz und nicht Black-Chrom, wie der Originalreifen. Das ist jetz aber Jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Der S-Hoop fokussiert den Sound. Hilft, dass sich die Trommel weniger schnell verstimmt und schützt die Kesselgratung, wenn man selbst mal nicht so genau trifft und vor allem andere mal über das eigene Set spielen.
