Expectations are met
Tastentiger, 20.08.2017
Finally, a device that makes it easy to record and mix together different audio sources in real time with a mobile phone video. The quality is impressive and it really can not be easier. Only the small go: mixer plus, depending on the phone, one of the cables and you can start. A power supply or batteries are not necessary.

I still want to say two things:

1. The USB cable is only about 50cm long. Thus, the basic use is limited to a mobile phone with table stand.

2. I would recommend anyone before buying on the Roland website after the support document? Smartphone Compatibility? to search. This saves you a lot of trouble, because there are listed all suitable phones and any restrictions (eg only mono recording).

VERY IMPORTANT!!!
To make it work on an Android phone, you need an additional app. The link can also be found on the support document.
Although a note on the back of the packaging is appropriate, but this can easily be overlooked, as in my case. I hope that one or the other have spared the hours of experimentation with various camera apps.

In principle, great!
Dudukman, 01.08.2018
The Go: Mixer does exactly what Roland advertising promises. He is super small, light and fast connected. I mainly use it as a mixer and connect a JBL Flip 4 via the monitor output. Since I do not use it, I use a 10,000 mA power bank to power the mixer. The device has a very low energy requirement, which means that you can supply it with the power of this power bank that Roland Mixer can supply for days.
The sound itself is fine, considering the price and the minuteness of the device. At the Mirkrofoneingang the high mids are not so nice, a bit scratchy and somehow there is a noticeable latency in the playback of the microphone input of the mixer. (I run the JBL Flip 4 Speaker directly on the monitor output of the mixer.) In my case, that does not matter, since I amplify a sluggish wind instrument with it. Playbacks that I use through one of the mixer's two AUX inputs sound good. Overall, everything works great and the connection was completely unproblematic.
What's out of order is the plastic case, which is reminiscent of cheap toys and the really cheap made control knobs for the level potentiometers. I would gladly have spent a little more money on stabillere version. Therefore point deduction during processing. So only in principle great, because long-lasting is different ...
