DAddario Woodwinds Metalite Tenor Sax M5

This is an unbelievable mpiece at this price range. I use it all the time now in preference to my other pieces. It has clarity and power with just enough resistance without being too hard to blow. It responds best for me with cane reeds although it works ok with synthetics too. I had to round the side edges of my reeds, where the reed touches your lips, as they were cutting into my lip. I think this may be because of the raised table, but it doesnt seem to change the response of the reed, and with a slight sanding of the edge problem is solved.
I used to have an otto link tonemaster and this mp sounds just so much richer and warmer while still giving enough of the volume, brilliance, response, and attack, of the metal mp. The inside is shaped like a dukoff with a very steep baffle. I would recommend it to anyone at any level, a steal at this price. Probably not suitable for classical playing.
