Protect Your Asset!
Graham3281 12.07.2021
Summary
A very substantial gigbag style case that gives superb, better than original hard case, protection. The optimum balance between portability and protection. A bit pricey, but well worth it if you value your bass. I prefer these to flight cases.
Pros:-
Rigid water resistant shell with deep internal padding.
Plush lining with panels to prevent bridge and machine heads from damaging lining.
Neck support and velcro grip to hold bass securely
Comfortable handle.
Cons:-
Not as many pockets as some others, but that is no issue for me.

After long deliberation, reading reviews and watching YouTube clips of the best bass cases and gigbags, I decided to buy the CV. I was not disappointed. It offers superb protection and is very well made. I bought it for another bass, but was very pleasantly surprised that my 20th Anniversary Alembic bass fits snuggly. This is a large bass with long neck & wide body etc. I have, until now, been unable to find any bag it will fit into let alone, I feel confident with. The original hard case is gigantic (too big for car back seat) and I have been making do with a Thunderbird Rokbag which was OK but not secure enough for travelling to gigs etc. I now feel far more confident in gigging my Alembic. Highly recommend this gigbag. Thomann service and dispatch were top class as usual.

ND
Best Gig Bag for HollowBody Guitars.
Nicolas Ducarme 25.11.2021
+ It's way more convenient than a Hard Case.
+ Better Build Quality Than A mono
+ Soft, plush interior is Best-In Class
+ Large Pockets
+ Sits higher than a typical gigbag
- The neck pocket should be thicker for gibson-style angled headstock, so it would sit higher and not touch the back of the back of the back.
- The aandle is not comfortable

Impressive!
mighselph 02.12.2018
Even after having watched a few videos praising the sturdiness of this case, I was still surprised when I received it and experienced its ruggedness with my own hands! The build quality is great but the attention to details and the clever design are what makes it so enjoyable to use. It makes me feel like the folks at Reunion Blues really thought about all the important aspects of a case like this.
I'm currently using it for my Cort A5 Plus but the case could accommodate an extra 12cm (4.7in) above the headstock!
In fact, the case is much bigger than I imagined. Its length of 133cm (52.3in) means I can barely fit it inside my Volvo S60 trunk (which is large). However, since the case is so sturdy and will definitely withstand impacts from emergency breaking or curving, I have no problem carrying it in the backseat.
Compared to standard gigbags, it's a bit heavier but is very comfortable carrying it either by the handle or as a backpack. And it feels so solid that I don't have to worry about moving it around, in and out of spaces, on backstages, rehearsal rooms, etc.
It may seem expensive but it's worth every penny.

An excellent gigbag
Mr Bassman 58 08.11.2018
I recently acquired a new 5 string bass guitar. I have owned two Reunion Blues gigbags for my 4 strings for the past 25 years (if not longer). This latest version is great - really well made. Great padding as you would expect from RB. This latest incarnation has clever features, such as the zipped compartment for the straps and the double pocket for accessories. Worth every penny!
