Best subwoofer for yourself what I have in no way heard. Potnea sufficient to jonki piece requires it. Previously, I had the Audio Pro's 8 "subwoofer home theater, and it is pretty ridiculous this alongside Found items of the songs completely new dimensions seems pretty showing down the studio for normal operation.!.
Low-key Luukki a plus!

Cubic, practical, good ...

Frank193, 20.12.2013
In addition to his function to complement a pair of KRK Rokit 6/2 by one octave, "my" SW had to meet a number of different criteria: its base area had to be about the dimensions of standardized pavements, its height had to be adjusted to the palm placed on it Light-optimized pitch, and of course it should look top and cost almost nothing.
Its floor area is 38 cm wide, 40 cm deep, a walkway slab measures 40 X 40, its height is palm-friendly - the first two criteria he fulfills. Unpacked, he surprised me first with a price for a very good finish, pleasant matt black lacquer - and my copy not the unskilfully executed repair site in the unfortunately constantly visible area of ??the front bass reflex tunnel I should speak of flawlessness, although I like to be niggle I admit, That I am impressed. How much more joy can be a mistake? All edges are evenly rounded, the carrier plate of the output stage is clean. The screw-free protective grille on the front is flush fitted into the body and stored in such a way that it does not cause any intrinsic noise. The white membrane made a black dust cover, so that a white ring is discreetly visible through the fine protective grille. Nice, that is synonymous less discreet in yellow with the KRK ... Right below, the company logo, "RCF" as a simple lettering in a, as already mentioned and mentioned, clean and flushly admitted plastic plaque, which neither striking nor cheap . When operating, the narrow outer ring of this plaque illuminates white, without striking or even glaring. The RCF is almost flawlessly processed, above all the quality of the paint convinces ... basically ... who likes to look nice and unobtrusive, might like him.

The case is made of 19 mm MDF and is therefore lively, the calming by walkway plate and palm tree thanked it with a little more precision. The sockets and switches on the amplifier plate are firmly screwed to it and offer a reasonable quality.

The evaluation of his tone, which is a delicate subject in SW anyway, is simply impossible in my room, in which the spatial modes excited by it stimulate the actual signal. However, I got an afternoon when he was allowed to replace a Sunfire-SW as a game of a pair of Audio Physic Avanti in an acoustically favorable environment.

At first the SW could not be easily exchanged. At the lowest frequency adjustable at the RCF the Avanti played loudly and loudly. Normally, the Sunfire only returns below 45 Hz, where the RCF is already in its boundary. Well, the Sunfire costs five times as much - is is thereby pleasantly even smaller. This is the same as an output stage in the kilowatt range. T-shirts in the bass reflex tubes increased the cut-off frequency of the avantis. Now, when the lowest cut-off frequency at the RCF was set, a fairly balanced sound picture and a mocking smile of the equipment owner were obtained.

In short, the RCF can be quite noisy, but with increasing levels, but quickly self-control, where precision is not generally its best side, and it comes, especially in this unfair comparison, simply not far enough. In every acoustic discipline, the RCF no longer offers the performances that one can expect in this price class. To me with up to slightly increased room loudness mitzublubbern is ok and - perhaps I already mentioned, visually pleasing and remarkably well processed (the last star for the processing gives away RCF with the unambitied paint repair). My assessment of the price / performance ratio is mainly reflected in my overall assessment.
