Klasse Strat Saitenreiter

Klanglich eine deutliche Verbesserung! Die Investition lohnt sich.
Ähnlich wie bei Callaham, unterstützen die Reiter schöne die Obertöne. Der Klang wird transparenter.

Einen Satz habe ich auf eine 1977er Strat installiert, da die alten Gußreiter zu weit eingeschnitten waren und sich ein Sitar-Effekt eingestellt hat. Der Klang ist nun anders, als von den 70er Reitern gewohnt. Ich betrachte dies aber als Bereicherung!

Das Geld sind die Steel Saddles wert!

Der Sound: ist gut, ja, schon. Doch - klingt gut! Aber ist er jetzt besser, als die Göldo Teile für nen Zehner? Hm - nicht wirklich. Schwer sich das einzugestehen, wenn man gerade über achzig Euros für MOJO-Hype ausgegeben hat, ne alter FlinkeFinger? Aber zu DEM Preis hätte ich wenigstens erwartet, daß da auch ein Satz längere Madenschrauben für höhere Saitenlagen dabeiliegt. Die alten passen hier nicht mehr (Anderes Gewinde: US nicht M3! Man braucht also einen anderen Imbusschlüssel!) Und wenn ich dann doch wieder "normale" Schräubchen kaufen muß, geht doch der ganze RawVintage Material Zauber wieder verloren, oder nicht?

Ich habe diese saddles inzwischen auf 3 meiner CS-Strats installiert.
Ich kann nur sagen dass es wircklich anders klingt.Ein bisschen glockiger und die tiefe E-Saite kriegt etwas mehr power.aber...........das Beste kommt noch!
Die Strat wird viel stimmstabiler.Der Schlitz der saddles ist wie bei den "vintage Strats " länger.Dadurch wird die Reibung minimiert.Die Saite läuft in einem anderen Winkel auf dem Böckchen.
Eine meiner Relics hatte ein Problem auf der G-Saite.Sie hörte sich immer fürchterlich verstimmt an. Ein penetranter Zusatzton,insbesondere bei Distortionsounds.Die raw vintage saddles eingebaut und das Problem war weg.
Also ich bin sehr zufrieden,schade dass es keine in Gold gibt!
