Professional solution to the desk multicore connection

I bought this a few years ago to accompany a Thomann pro snake 24+8 multicore. It's lived in the dog-box of my Allen and Heath mixer flightcase and has always worked perfectly.
The XLRs are Amphenol type and while they don't feel quite as sturdy and nice to use as Neutrik, they are perfectly OK, and after all they're not getting plugged and unplugged very often anyway. The connectors are IDC (Insulation Displacement Connectors) rather than soldered, which concerned me initially, but none have given any trouble at all.
The tails are thin but of tough cable, with a heatshrink sleeve where they enter the XLR connectors, and again are well up to the job. The Harting connector is a weighty diecast lump of a connector which has lugs to screw it down into the mixer case.
Really professional kit that has proved itself in hard use. Very pleased.
