I had a problem syncronizing My Tascam US20x20 and a "moody" TC FInalizer 96k. The toslinks would not want to see each other for some enigmatic reason, I only could link the SPDIF out ftom the TC to the SPDIF in of the TAscam, and used the analog outs, but they did not work perfectly together. Then I linked the clock out of the Tascam to the clock in of the TC using and this adaptor and a BNC cable, and quality suddenly improved, and now they work together flawlessly.
