Really well built plastic product. Simple to use and manage.

Pros:

- programe the set point humidity and
- set the temperature in Fahrenheit or Centigrate
- memory feature that allows you to see when and which were the highest and lowest temperatures of exposure.

I had an issue with the battery that came together because it was over really fast.

This is a really neat instrument, which is designed to fit in your guitar case, and only measures 3 inches x 1.5 inches. It measures relative humidity as well as temperature, and has a very useful maximum/minimum feature for displaying the highest and lowest humidity and temperature of the guitar's environment, and letting you know the exact date and time this occurred. The instrument is excellent if you are seriously worried about your guitar's climatic conditions in transit (e.g. in a car, on a flight etc). However, Planet Waves' new Humiditrak (about twice the price) will let you monitor what's happening inside your guitar case via a mobile app, which I do like the sound of! When I am not travelling, I leave the instrument on the shelf in the music room and the readings seem very accurate and sensitive, and also have made me aware of how dangerously dry the home environment becomes with central heating on all winter. The instrument came with a CR2032 battery that needed replacing after about 3 months use, hence the 4 stars and not 5.
