Used as mini kick drum

I have used this tom as a kick drum using the pearl jungle kit adapter. Initially I was disappointed with the sound but after investing in some high end heads which cost me nearly as much as the drum, I have a decent sound.
Something I do not like is the obvious seam on the wrap

Estetica eccezionale

Dal punto di vista visivo sembra uno specchio metallico un po' scuro che ha un grande impatto estetico. Il suono è molto buono per il costo che ha, soprattutto se accordato con sapienza. La pecca sta nello scalino che si crea tra le giunture della rivestitura esterna, fattore comunque trascurabile. Comprese tre gambe per appoggiarlo al pavimento.
Ha di serie due pelli Remo Pearl piuttosto sottili e dal sustain prolungato che forse sarebbe meglio sostituire fin da subito.

Un tom de qualité au bon prix

J'ai acheté ce second tom 16''x16'' pour compléter mon kit Pearl Export fusion.
La qualité de fabrication est tout à fait honorable à ce niveau de prix. Rien à redire. Prévoir sans doute comme, son petit frère, un réglage plus régulier de la tension de la peau.
En parlant de la peau fournie avec ce tom, songez évidemment rapidement à la changer pour une restitution sonore de meilleure qualité.

Sehr sehr Gutes Standtom!!

Ich bin Drummer in verschiedenen Orchestern und Bands und habe das Standtom schon oft benutzt und mitgenommen. Es macht zuverlässig das was es soll, nämlich fett und gut klingen. Auch über Anlage lässt es sich gut verstärken und/oder aufnehmen.

Ich habe es vor ca. zwei Jahren als Erweiterung zu meinem Pearl Export chrome gekauft und seitdem ist es täglich im Einsatz.

Einziger Kritikpunkt ist, dass es sich relativ schnell verstimmt und man es wieder fester anziehen muss, aber wenn man das weiß, ist das alles gar kein Problem.

Ich kann es jedem weiterempfehlen, der für wenig Geld, maximalen Sound haben will!!
