Unsuitable for most people
These strings are most unsuitable for what is a georgeous instrument. They are very rough on the tips of the fingers and cause much pain after a short use. The instrument cries out for ROUNDWOUND strings. On my Mark Tobias full size bass guitar I use Daddario Roundwounds and the sound and useage are superb--no painful finger tips from the scratchy and uneven Flatwounds. When will you start stocking Roundwounds for this super Electro-acoustic instrument. I would tell anyone thinking of buying NOT to until you can get Roundwounds instead of the rough and damaging Flatwounds.

The ODW-4 strings are the only strings available for the Ortega D walker and KT walker. They are mounted ex works on the KT-Walker, but on the D-Walker, phosphorus / bronze strings are mounted. I wonder what the strings are, if the ODW-4 are supposed to be the only ones that are available. However, I had the strings since I was with the orginal everything was not happy. The new strings can also be accessed much better, sound longer and cause less playing noise. However, they also have a distinct lower string tension than the original ones. This had brought with me as a result the considerable adjustment work on the bass was necessary to make it playable at all. With a simple correction on the collar it was not done. Too bad the Ortega the quality problems with the D-Walker apparently does not get under control ...
