Great vocal mic for the money
Ploki, 16.07.2020
It has the typical controlled all-round Oktava sound, except it sounds a little smoother and less rolled-off on the high-end.
Sibilances aren't harsh at all.
Compared to MK102 and MK101 it has a silky present high-end, but not harsh, also not as crispy as i.e. AKG C414.

Extremely malleable in a mix and very easy to fit.
Also used it on a Cello, and has a nice hefty low-end - not as much as a clip-on DPA would produce, but very controlled and full-bodied.

Needs a fair distance (10cm) or a very good pop-shield.

Highly recommended.

Vale la pena gastar más dinero?
Francesc569, 11.07.2013
