Solid and secure

I used these as speaker sockets on a 2x10" guitar cab.
The switched sockets mean I can use the cabinet as mono or stereo just by plugging into the correct socket on the rear. They have been installed and working for over a year now with no problems.

Also used for headphone extensions and splitter cables. Easy to solder, adapts to a range of panel thicknesses.

Ordering more very soon.

Good plastic connector
Razvan 16.04.2015
I bought this connector to use it a home made mini amp for headphones. The pics don`t show, but it has a row of pins on both sides. I have printed my own PCB for it, so i don`t know if the spacing fits a pre-drilled PCB, but i think one could bend them in. When it comes to the connection itself, it`s not much to say. It works, the jack is not hard to plug in or remove, and i have not encountered "dead" positions. The only thing i would like to have is a metal nut; the plastic one looks a bit cheap, but that`s only me :) I`d definitely buy this again if i need such a connector.

Neutrik Rean NYS Jack Socket

I used these to construct a "Kill Switch" they were easy to fit and reasonable quality for the price.

pros: low price and does the job
cons: plastic and therefore easily to strip thread when
tightening, care needs to be taken.

Does the job!

i brought 16 of these to make a custom stage box up and was not disappointed with them. they are made really well with enough room to get though thick bits of plastic. i highly recommend these if you are building any custom unit.
