Good basics!

I got these DvDs worried, because I wanted to refresh my rhythm game in the metal area. That's what I achieved! What is also nice is: You can play with the learned riffs in the music store something different in the guitarsestest than the usual pentatonic fiddle. Honestly, who can still hear that?

First of all:
Be careful! Despite some experience in the metal field I had and with some exercises on these DVDs enormous difficulties. Before you buy the DVDs, you should probably only a few months downpicking, alternate picking and muscle endurance in the right hand! I had a lot of perseverance, but for some jam tracks it was not enough.

Back to the 6 DVDs:
The first DVD only deals with rhythmic exercises that contribute to safe timing and muscle building. These exercises should not be left out! They actually consist only of the damped E-string (Palmmuting), but are a very very good warm-up exercise and open the door in the high speeds of the other DVDs. Andy James explains how to get a good metaltone out of his amp. Nice! Less beautiful: He calls a simple gallop rhythm (two 16th notes followed by an 8th note) as triplet (= triangle)! What a musical nonsense! This error I've heard of musicians before, which is why he seems to me to be forgiven.

DVD2:
Very nice exercises. With these exercises you can achieve very fast results, since they are still in the middle to lower difficulty level.

DVD3:
This is very fast very violently: confused rhythms paired with fast hammerons and sweep picking. Very demanding, but also very valuable if one has managed it.

DVD4:
This exercise track is oddly lighter than DVD3. Fast downpicking and melodic embellishments on the first 3 strings require high concentration and cleanliness during play. My absolute favorite DVD from the series!

DVD5 + DVD6
From all the techniques used, the most important ones are summarized in challenging jam tracks. If you've only been through the first 4 DVDs fights, here is something easier.

Conclusion: Nix for beginners. However, advanced users can take a look!

Had expected more.

Now I knew that on this DVD not everything can be accommodated. But I must say that I was somewhat disappointed.

Just cheap is not the DVD and you get a video which I believe just 30 minutes. (Please do not hack, I have not looked at it for a long time).

At the very least, you get more money when you buy a book from Joe Satriani or Troi Stetina.

If it were cheaper, more stars would have been there.
