Very good for its price!
shail3n, 22.04.2018
I have to admit, I was a bit skeptic about this stand which I received as a bundle along with my Startone acoustic guitar. I was initially looking for a beginner and cheap guitar for my sister and I have read that both the Millenium stand and Startone brand are made my Thomann itself. For the cheap price paid, I was not expecting much of a quality stuff since it was part of a cheap bundle.

Once I received the package in time and neatly packed as always by Thomann all the way from Germany to Mauritius, I was really surprised by this stand. It is looks very rigid and has a bit of weight, which makes it very stable. It holds the acoustic guitar which I bought very well and I am really happy with my purchase!

Don't let the price fool you, and even if it is part of a free bundle, this stand is very good. Am am sure there are more expensive stands out there that will do the same job as this one and will not beat this one in terms of quality. The stand holds the guitar perfectly and looks very beautiful in its matte black colour. Height is also adjustable.

Highly recommended and thank you again Thomann for your professionalism. Never let me down.

Works great on Jazz bass
Ulven, 14.09.2017
I own several different guitar stands of various makes and shapes. This is by far the best cheap guitar stand I have brought.

Its not as good as my Hercules stand with the auto yoke, but that's a £30 stand by comparison. The Hercules is of more sturdy build and the auto yoke for gripping the neck is handy if you're too lazy to attach a manual neck tie.

The millenium GS-2000 is in my opinion sturdy enough for home use.

It has a good wide base stand so that it is nice and stable and doesn't rock around. The manual tie for holding the guitar at the neck is adequate for the job.

Height is adjustable.

One really good feature, that I've seen someone else review as a negative, is that the bracket/seat for the base of the guitar swivels. On most stands its firmly fixed in place. Why is this a good thing? Well for anyone who's tried to use a stand on a guitar with a weird shaped/angled bottom like a Jazz bass for example will know that they don't usually sit well. The swivel bracket/seat on this stand allows a jazz bass to sit perfectly upright and cradled equally on its bottom edge.

For this price I really can't see any negatives. An auto neck yoke would be nice but I've only seen them on Hercules stands and I wouldn't expect that for this price.

I think I'm likely to purchase a couple more to replace some of my other stands.

Great stand at an absolute steal of a price!
Lazy Joe, 26.07.2021
I was skeptical about the quality of these stands due to the price. Upon receiving my first, I was impressed by the construction. It's nothing special, but easily better than most stands that cost double or more. I have bought a few more since the first, and I must say there are no complaints.

best option
captkeep, 28.05.2021
i have both guitars and bass at home and like to keep them sefe but out of the case. this stand is amazing because it costs very little but is stable and keep enerything in place. 3 of this single stand take less space that a 3 pieces rack, are more solid and if you need to move one instrument or the other you can do it with the rack and alway have the stand right where you need it. the base is solid, and you can lock the neck of you guitar in the support with the bungie.

Sturdy, holds my guitar firmly in place
Arman Manukyan, 01.09.2017
The Millenium GS-2000 guitar stand is probably the most secure guitar stand you will find at this price. I collect guitar stands; I never intended to, but I have an extensive collection of guitars and basses. As each new style of stand was marketed, I had to have one (or two, or three). This stand is one of the original designs, and if you have the room to place it and carry it, it's still one of the best. It supports the instrument at the neck and the bottom. It has a revolving yoke so instruments that are offset at the bottom are held securely. It is adjustable for height to be useful for anything from a baritone ukulele to an extended range bass guitar. The entire yoke and neck holder are padded with a soft, cushioned material that won't damage your instrument's finish. Although the rear leg appears to be short, it is more than long enough to maintain the instrument's center of gravity well within the stands footprint, while still allowing the stand to be placed close to a wall. The tubing and frame material is more than heavy enough to support the six string bass (10 1/2 lbs) that is presently sitting on it. In fact, the heavier the instrument is, the more stable it will be on this stand. It's a fact of physics.

It does its job as you would expect
SergeyEvseev, 11.05.2018
Summary: a great piece of accessories. For the price its grade is 5!
If I would be a millionaire I would buy a whole warehouse of these things :)

The stand is definitely stable and convinient in use. I use it for dreadnought acoustic and for Strat. Both sit like a charm.

One minor con:
The rubber holder that locks the guitar in stand (preventing it from falling) is somewhat inconvinient and unreliable when you lock it on and off.

I definitely recommend it for buying!

good guitar stand, though it has the possibility of falling apart
Shawn Legaspi, 06.06.2021
this is my millionth time buying this guitar stand - it's affordable and can hold any type of guitar/bass - offset or otherwise.

the little lock to prevent the instrument from falling off is useful, however I've found that one of the pins to hold it in can easily come off after days of use - to be honest this feature isn't too important but it's worth noting

additionally, I have had the 'seat' for the guitar break before once, which is slightly concerning, and it's why the quality is simply 3 stars

if you're looking for a cheap way to hold up your instrument, this is it. just be wary of it being worn down over time :)

Ive three of these!!
Paddy&Co, 06.04.2021
If I buy more guitars (and we all known that just kinda happens) Ill have to look at something else, but for now I have 3 of these. One holds my acoustic, one for my Les Paul and the other for my Strat. These are in my living room, and what I like about these stands is that for the most part you just see the guitar - the stand is visible but very subtly.

Speaks for itself..
23.02.2017
I bought a couple of these the other day, thought it was time to organise my string instruments a little bit rather than having them laying all over my studio.

As most stands, it cradles your guitar/bass pretty nicely, just as you would expect it to do.

One thing that was not clear to me before purchasing this stand though was that the bottom rack (the part that holds your instrument from the bottom), is not fixed or fixable for that matter. This was a little annoying because it then could spin on itself and easily become upside down. When upside down it becomes pretty easy for it to slip out of the stand.

This is not a huge issue though if you just watch out for it. It would have been nice though if they added a tightening key/knob to it to ensure it's placement.

Pros:
- Holds your instrument perfectly
- Adjustable hight of the neck
- Accommodates all guitars and bass

Cons:
- Bottom part is a little loose and cannot be fixated.

This is great!
Andrei M., 26.04.2017
So I was looking at guitar stands!

Having browsed Thomann for almost every page and looked at every guitar stand there is I came to the conclusion that I don't have the budget to reach out for an expensive stand. Having it ordered with my guitar meant that like 90% of my budget was going on my guitar obviously!

So I saw this and thought to myself.. hey, it's cheap, even if it's terrible I'll just give it away or sell it to someone or do whatever with it, keep it for parts!

Well I ordered 2 of these for me and a friend and their good! It's stable and keeps your instrument in place!

Does it feel super premium? Of course not, it's not even 6 euro's! But who cares. Sure you can maybe get one that's horrible but mine is perfectly usable!

I couldn't find any flaw in this. So I gave it a 10/10. Maybe other people had lower quality ones but I feel that mine is great!

Don't worry about my 4 stars on quality unless your guitar is an expensive one, but even then it might be fine!

You get what you pay for
Louis2403, 08.02.2021
The 'saddle' pivots which may be useful for unusual body shapes but for a LP/Strat/Tele is just annoying and the material on the 'saddle' is slippy and your guitar will fall forward unless you are careful.

Nothing to complain about for the price
Mofosir, 26.01.2020
A perfectly fine guitar stand for the price.

Perhaps it is not the sturdiest thing out there, but considering the costs it is more than adequate. The construction seems solid, both the legs and the adjustable height are good. Also, there's a handy rubber lock for the neck so that the guitar doesn't fall out of the stand. I happen to have two more of this same stand, and I've had 'em for nearly three years. I use them in the studio, or on stage, and they do just fine. Also, it fits many types of guitars, not just electric: I've kept bases, acoustics and classical guitars on it. Though, I'm not sure that it would fit some of the odder shapes, like, say, an explorer or a flying v, as I hadn't had any of them to try it out.
Again, it is not the sturdiest stand out there, for sure, so if You bump into it it may tip over, but I guess that applies to nearly all stands, unless they are bolted into the ground. In any case, definitely better than having Your guitars lying about.

Don't really have any complaints, it does what it's supposed to do, and for the price it's a steal, would recommend.

Sturdy Guitar Stand?
Dr Bassman, 16.12.2019
Right: The Millennium GS-2000 ...
... Simply put:

1/ It's a stand;
2/ It can be used for guitars (all sorts, actually);
3/ It is definitely sturdy; not overly so, but sturdy nonetheless.

And, as it is described as a "Sturdy Guitar Stand", it can only get full marks; which, I guess, helps explain why I have three Millennium GS-2000s.

Pretty much perfect
Alex Otsuka, 09.01.2021
This stand is absolutely perfect despite its very low price. One of its legs was a little difficult to set in place, but pulling on it a little harder did the trick. Once set up, the stand is perfectly stable and had no issue accommodating my guitar.

A useful tool
T_o_m, 30.12.2020
The stand is fine. I ordered two - I use one for an electric guitar and the other for an acoustic guitar, and in both cases the stand does a good job.
The stand is not perfectly centered, but no problem, it is rather an aesthetical than functional matter.

Disappointing...
06.07.2015
I bought this naively thinking 'a stand is a stand'. I however was mistaken, when the stand arrived I thought that it looked a bit flimsy, but thought no more about it because let's face it, stands aren't in the slightest bit interesting. Anyway, time passed and it became apparent that the stability of the stand was horrendous, the guitar's weight often made it topple over, defeating the purpose of having a stand in the first place. Things soon went from bad to worse as the body support of the stand snapped off completely, rendering the stand completely useless to me.

My advice would be to spent an extra fiver on a decent stand, because you will save money in the long run. That, and the fact that you have the assurance that your pride and joy isn't going to fall off the stand and potentially suffer the heartless and unpredictable consequences of gravity.
