A relay port for MIDI ... but!
We got the part to realize a red light control in the studio. Theoretically, yes, because our console outputs all fader movements and also the mute function as Midi commands. Depending on the commands, the corresponding relays should then switch - or not. It is noteworthy that the device works through the voltage supply of the MIDI connector and does not require an external power supply. There is also a control light via the Midi-Traffic, which flashes hard whenever MIDI commands go through.
So far so good. - Only the programming of the thing is really tedious. I have not yet managed to program the thing (did not have time). If you do not have so much to do with Midi, this is really hard ...
Let's see ... when I've done it, I can make an update here.
