Simple, effective, clean sound, not really found a fault except the 96KHz and the 88.2KHz which is not yet available and which prevents me from working on my old projects. Another detail, on the Aux we can only assign the first inputs of the USB sound card. Surely corrected in the next firmware update ... patience. I made this choice compared to the X32 for the solidity and preamps of the beast and I am really not disappointed for now.
I have been working with the Behringer x32 for 2 years. The Midas M32 I bought myself, since I see in terms of preamps, fader, haptics and discreet appearance an improvement. In these points the M32 is more suitable for me. I see another advantage in the "Phase Coherent Mix Buses". This is similar to the phase reversal in the channels and prevents interference. Thomann had the first delivery date and I have a bundle (with the usual Tourcase). The Midas faders have a longer lifetime according to the manufacturer, The preamps are installed in the Pro series and I have thus best experiences. (We also have a Pro 1) To the faders is to say that with appropriate adjustment (in the Prefers) almost a touch sensitivity as I know it from the Tascam. DH sobabld touch the fader - this channel jumps into the "select" mode. (If you want that) The housing is valuable. The slant of the channel strips and the display ensure good access to all controls. The somewhat discreet visual impression corresponds to my aesthetic feeling. Also, the labels IN the buttons are quite clear and readable for me. In contrast to the X, the M32 has no built-in TB microphone. But is not a disadvantage, since I usually use a Schwanenhals micro. The lamp bushing at the rear, requires a new acquisition with longer Schwanenhals. I am mostly on A-Cappella festivals unterwegs.Hier are compressors, gates and especially the effects peak- but the one knows already from the X32. So I am satisfied. The consideration more than double for the above differences is left to everyone. For me also the hoping "rider fitness" plays a role.
