Glossy ck

Doctor Bee, 21.01.2014
Sound right after the first chord to fall in love. Is similar to my terms with Martin. Maton's nose has just tipped his nose just before Martin. The guitar can be played very well and is good in the band structure.
I miss a built-in tuner, although the PreAmp simply sounds great. The built-in microphone can only be added subtly to the piezo pickup, because otherwise it starts to whistle. The micro needs only minimal addition, so that the guitar also sounds more authentic.
Why Maton is already drilling another hole in the frame next to the already existing belt pin hole so that a jack socket can be accommodated, only the manufacturer knows. Just as unnecessary is the signature on the dashboard, which can hopefully be polished away. The fingerboard is boring. For the optics, I would give a maximum of two stars.
A sound purchase!

Horny guitar? Also for non-CGPs

ThomasW, 22.04.2017
The TE1 impressed me from the first moment. A playability in this lightness I have experienced with so far no other acoustic guitar. Not at Martin, not at Tayler, and at Lakewood either. Because almost one or the other electric guitar can cut off a disc of.

The other very notable point is the pick-up sound. I hate the average piezo sound, with a lot of (also expensive) acoustic guitars. The TE1 has the Maton system AP5-Pro ??on board. Its combination of piezo and micro sounds very authentic at first glance and spares the listeners of the typical piezo-pling. The system is somewhat more susceptible to feedback because of the microphone, but the Maton feedback buster (a black plastic disc that comes into the soundhole? Accessory) can be put to good use.

The acoustic sound I feel very good, but not better than other guitars in this price class.

The only small drawback at the TE1 is the missing tuning device in the built-in preamp. This should be the standard today. But whatever.

Conclusion: The TE1 is a great guitar for the stage, recording and all-round use. I feel very comfortable, even if I am not a CGP. "CGP" is an inlay in the neck and stands for Tommy Emmanuel's status as a "Certified Guitar Player". No, even with this guitar I will never play like Tommy. But will I have to live with it? ;-)
