I got a set of these to go on my HB35+; the LH strap button is on the back of the body so I figured the Schaller type would poke me with that little ball end and the Dunlop type would be in danger of unlocking with its push-in type release button. I have both of those types on other guitars.

These Marvels release from below and have a wider flatter clamping nut so no poking or accidental releasing.
Even better, they have a lower overall height than the others.

You have to make sure the strap clamping is good and tight. There are no flats on the nut for a wrench, though I found that folding the strap back over the knurled nut gave me a good grip for tightening. It hasn't come loose so far; if it did I'm sure a drop of thread locker would sort it.

I can see these becoming more popular as the word gets around.

Excellent strap locks

Bought a couple of sets of these for my guitars and am very happy with them.

They are good quality and robust which is exactly what you want when you place your expensive guitars in their trust.

The were very easy to fit and have not caused me any trouble so far.

I have used other strap locks in the past by well known brands, but these are the best I've used so far.

One small issue I experienced on one set was that the strap side unit locked open when I first used it, I thought it was going to have to go back but a slight rotation and the spring popped back and it worked perfectly after that. Not sure what happened but haven't experienced it since.

Strap locks are a great investment, especially if your instrument is expensive or sentimental.
