Guitar SpeakersThe C212 is the ideal speaker for JVM205 head. I have used this cab for quite a while now and it performes incredibly well with whatever i throw at it.... having used many other marshall cabs including 1x12 2x12 & 4x12 i settled on this because the speakers are powerful enough to handle anything you throw at them but still have a vintage character to them and the light weight means you won't need to bust your spine getting it in and out of the car

Verpackung, Handlichkeit, Gewicht
Alle Lautsprecher waren gut und sicher verpackt. Nach dem Auspacken viel als erstes auf, wie handlich das Marshall-Teil im Vergleich zu den anderen beiden ist. Die Arme müssen auf Grund der Abmessungen weniger weit auseinander beim Tragen (ich bin 185cm groß). Und - es ist wesentlich leichter.

Qualitätseindruck(Preisunabhängig)
Auf einer Scala von 1 - 10 gebe ich dem Harley B. 5 Punkte. Hier viel auf, dass auf der Oberseite des Tolex bereits Druckstellen vorhanden waren, ganz krass die Kunststoffschutzecken so angebracht waren, dass man daran hängen bleiben könnte und der Gesamteindruck eher mäßig war. Framus machte einen guten Eindruck, das Material könnte etwas hochwertiger sein, hier 7 - 8 Punkte. Sofort fällt bei Marshall schon von weitem die überragend Qualität auf. Alles sehr gut verarbeitet, die Klinke-Buchse sehr weit nach innen gegen Beschädigungen gebaut und ein sehr hochwertiges Material. Hier die volle Punktzahl.

Sound
Angespielt mit Strat, Tele und LP viel auf, dass die Marshall-Box einen wahnsinnigen Druck erzeugt, während die beiden anderen Kandidaten hier eher blass aussahen. Alle haben diesen eher warmen Vintage-Klang, unterstützt natürlich auch durch das Vollröhren-Topteil. Dabei klingt die Benton-Box mit den meisten Höhen und auch unten herum gar nicht schlecht. Die Framus-Box erschien ein wenig blass, nicht präsent wie die anderen beiden, eher unspektakulär, aber auch nicht übel. Der Sound hier ist eher Mittenlastig. Am ausgewogensten war ganz deutlich die Marshall-Box. Die Höhen klingen einfach hervorragend. Glasklar, nicht zu aufdringlich, nicht zu laut. Tolle Mitten und einen super Wumms unten herum. Ich habe mich ertappt, dass ich viel länger die Marshall-Box während des Testens gespielt habe als die anderen.

Fazit
Alle Lautsprecher liegen Soundmäßig auf einem relativ hohen Niveau vor allem in Bezug auf den Preis. Da fällt dann allerdings auch die mäßige Qualität bei Benton (im Vergleich zu den anderen) auf. Selbstverständlich habe ich mich für Marshall entschieden, aus folgenden Gründen:
- Sehr gut Qualität
- Gute Handlichkeit
- Ausgewogener, richtig geiler Sound

Sicherlich ist gerade das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis bei Benton hervorragend und für den kleinen Geldbeutel auch eine gute Investition. Wenn man sich ein Topteil für 800,-EUR leistet, sollte man für diese meist langfristige Investition nicht auf den Euro schauen. Dank 30-Tage Moneyback-Möglichkeit konnte ich den Test in Ruhe durchführen und dann zurücksenden.
