Here you can not go wrong!
BassyTOBe, 26.01.2012
I've been playing bass for over 10 years and I've been looking for a light box that is suitable for professional recording as well as for larger and larger gigs. Exactly what I've found with the Markbass 104HF!

Features:
The box has a 1 "twetter which can be operated comfortably with a rotary control on the side, which is very practical.
Behind the lattice 4 yellow-orange B & C 10 "Custom neodymium speakers do their job.
What the product description does not show: On the back there are 2 Speakon inputs. So I finally found my way to Speakon cables and although I thought it was only for rip off, I was in the end positively surprised how uncomplicated and safe the system works.
This box is a bit higher in that the ports are forward and generally it looks quite big and bulky. However, here 10Kg less weight is in the game than with many other boxes, so you can carry them loose in one hand through the area and that is the absolute hammer! :)

Design & Processing:
I fell in love with the design at first sight. Most of the boxes out there are just black-gray and look totally boring, but this piece of gold is guaranteed to be everywhere! In addition, the box is covered with black carpet cover and I somehow can no longer stop stroking it. : D
Everything is processed to the millimeter perfectly, as one can expect it in this price class. Point!

Sound:
I play the box over a Sandberg Jazzbass on a LittleMark Tube 800.
Right at the beginning, I noticed how tightly defined the depths. Muddy and washed up is for me once and for all past! When you sit in front of the speakers you can feel on your own body how much air is moved here in a fraction of a second. And while I see the speakers working so play, I sometimes shoot the tears in my eyes. The heights are very soft and pleasant, the sound is never obtrusive, unpleasant or harsh. At high volumes, the low-mid-range is, in my opinion, somewhat over-emphasized, which I had however within seconds fast by EQ under the handle.
The box reproduces every conceivable generated sound very loudly and directly into high volume ranges. You can hear even the smallest dynamic subtleties. Top!

Conclusion & price performance:
I am very enthusiastic about this little yellow furry (* streichel * ^^) wonderwork of the pit building! The price for me was a small shock (especially since I am still a student), but in the end, this box has earned every cent of it amply! And let's be honest: If you have invested a lot of money in a good amp, a good bass and professional cable, then you should definitely not save on the box, because here everything is played and amplified so only made audible!
What else is not for me anymore! Clear purchase recommendation!

Effective and efficient

Since there is no review for this product I will try to share my impressions.

The cabinet in question is delivered in a Markbass carton. One can directly see the "Made in Italy" as well as the factory label on the side of the cardboard. The carton is sealed with large staples. The cabinet is well cushioned inside and packed in a plastic bag. First surprise, no need to belt force to pull it out or even grind the cardboard. The 29kg are a real treat compared to certain brands. The two handles located on each side of the cabinet are well designed and allow to move it without any worries.

First inspection:

Everything is very well studied and the finish is really incredible. It is covered with a fine black carpet on its whole and each corner is protected by solidly fixed rigid plastic parts. I also appreciated the label on the front grid indicating the person who carried out the quality control (certainly a little marketing but ...).

Finally, the front grille reveals the 4x10 to the color of the mark.

Plug and tweeter:

On the right side is the tweeter usually located at the back of the cabinets. It is therefore easier to realize the change of sound when adjusting. The rear panel has two plug and speakon speakers in one.

His :

I'm not going to venture into an area I know less. I have combined this firm with a little mark Tube 800 and I am fully satisfied with the sound range I can get. According to the manufacturer a cabinet 8 ohm allows to get 500 watts with this head and I can assure you that this 4x10 does very very well his job!

To be considered:

The cabinet is delivered without notice (it can be conceived but when you say it is high-end I consider that you must be irreproachable). Concerning the whole stack, Markbass does not have a real sound personality in my opinion and that is exactly what I was looking for!
