A very good set for a very good price .....

Hard to believe but true, a drumset does not have to cost more than 600-700 EUR to get a professional sound. Whoever says something else probably has enough money or a bad sound engineer on board.

Compared to other set's of the same price class, the Mapex "Mars" wins in almost every area, be it the sound, the look, the boom bouncing + colors ..... up to the nasty tom-feet of the floortome and its malignant locking system .. .des is nix guats, unfortunately. You can very quickly make a floortome crash when you think that the locking screws of the tombeine are closed and when playing, then slide the legs from the slit-shaped bore. And bamm ... the floortom bangs against what is valuable, like the bassdrum.

This was already the only punctuation deduction. With slightly better skins eg Remo coated emperor in my case, the set of Profistyle sounds and you need, above all, live, nothing better and can invest his money in Cymbals to complete the sound holistically.

I wonder seriously how viiieeeel better now a Black Panther Blaster Kid must sound to justify the much higher price ???

Play the set now for 4 months and am just totally excited.
Processing and optics of the first class - you can order neat skins, the sound is simply terrific and in this price segment sure to be at the forefront.

A special highlight for me is the bass drum, which delivers the perfect rock sound compared to smaller models with 24 inches - the 2 inch difference to a 22 bass drum is clearly noticeable and this is also reflected in the slightly different playing feeling.

I can recommend the set to anyone who is looking for a fat, loud rock sound and is also confident with a 24-bass drum to play :-)
