The Ultimate Toddlers Piano

I got this as a gift for my 2 year old as she is very musical and I wanted a musical instrument that would inpire her to play and show her that music is fun. She loves watching and listening to me playing a full sized keyboard. Although initially this may seem a lot of money this really is more than a 'toy'. Firstly it has a LOT of built in sounds and while this is no Triton the sounds are excellent and way beyond that of any childrens intrument I have ever heard- the mono synths are particularly good and the piano sounds great. Most importantly for children it is easy to navigate sounds, very well built for its target audience and looks just so cute that I can imagine these being collectors items for years to come. Build quality is the usual high Korg standard and really there is little to complain about. I would have liked a better quality speaker considering the price but the volume is sufficient enough for the target age group and its not a deal breaker. In conclusion this is expensive if you look at it as a 'toy' but I would not look at it that way, it will inspire music in your children and making music will be such fun. Highly reccomended :)

After I've always been on the lookout for a children's piano, I've recently cheated unexpectedly in KORG's tinyPIANO.

The part has 25 clear realistic sounds and 50 programmed, very nicely arranged songs to offer, on which the instrument can be improvised.
In addition to the very well-imprinted climper sound of an acoustic minipianos (which has been given the characteristic keystroke when releasing - as well as the harpsichord), there are different sounds for pianos, organs, flutes, strings, accordions, Each of the sound colors can be m. E. with larger e-pianos.

The operation is simple, almost self-explanatory, the play feeling pleasant. The keys are not important, but are sensitive to impact. Also for adult hands playable, one gets used to it. =)

For night sessions, there is a headphone jack or possibly the possibility to adjust the volume down. Direct recording is possible via the same connection. The built-in loudspeaker below creates a good acoustical feel with the corresponding sounds. With a full battery compartment it can be jammed in the green or in the pedestrian zone. Great addition to acoustic sessions in general.

The transposition function (up to 1 octave up / down) is interesting when you have another mini to jamming (expand the key range so to say), simply lower / higher positions would like to import or change the finger set to adapt to different keys ,

Last but not least, one has to say: optically an eye-catcher because of the design, which simply has style and somehow also humor.
A bit I had to criticize the processing at first glance, since 2 buttons with me have greater distance than the others and the gap immediately noticeable. I suspect the reason for this in a very favorable production. I was however in view of the perfect functioning and the great sounds after such a long search emotionally not ready to restore the part, only to exchange it for an externally absolutely perfect. Apart from that, the (in my case white) wood paneling makes neat. High-quality, smooth and shiny, robust and with rounded edges is very child-friendly - but it does not look childish or silly, but looks really chic and retains the popular vintage charm.

Conclusion: Needs little space, can be taken everywhere, offers many great sounds and makes a lot of fun.
Clear recommendation for children / parents (as a pure toy or musical instrument of a particular kind), hobby musicians or professional musicians.
