I originally purchased this stand after observing a fellow musician
using one.....It was the most reliable stand I have ever used.........
Unfortunately, in 2009, I left the base of the stand after me on
departing some performing venue....I tried in vain, to obtain a base,
without success....I was so passionate about this stand, that I
purchased a complete new one...and believe it or not, the quality and
standards have not changed, over the years.... Well done to K & M and
more importantly to Thomann for maintaining " HIGH STANDARDS "

Flexible and stable stand

There are probably 1001 different use cases for this stand - I use it as a keyboard stand for a 3-octave synthesizer. Well thought-out design with amazing stability. Despite the one-pillar construction, my synthesizer can be played while standing, without disturbing wobbling or swinging.

The only downside is that the support surface is not completely horizontal and falls slightly to one side. That's probably only with my stand so disturbing and so little that it did not seem to me worthy of reclamation. In the price class, I would not have expected that anyway.
