Bonjour,
j'ai installé ce micro sur une mandoline napolitaine, donc sous le chevalet. La difficulté est que malgré sa finesse, le chevalet n'entrait plus correctement en contact avec la table d'harmonie. Il m'a fallu ponser le chevalet (âme sensible s'abstenir). C'est un moindre mal car je ne voulais pas percer la caisse pour y insérer un quelconque micro piezo.
Il faut bien réfléchir où l'installer car ensuite c'est compliqué de le décoller sans l’abîmer (c'est vraiment petit et fragile) ensuite, pas de soucis. Je l'ai mis sous les cordes ré et la (bref au milieu).
Attention, ce micro doit être absolument associé à un préampli avec la possibilité de changer la phase. J'ai choisi le K&K pure XLR Preamp car il a un volume, un gain et une équalisation 3 bandes et une sortie XLR. Un peu cher mais une super qualité.

Auf meinem Natur-Holz-Cello habe ich mehrere Tonabnehmer (Piezo, unter den Stegbeinen, auf der Decke) ausprobiert. Zuletzt bin ich beim Shadow SH955 NFX-C geblieben (siehe auch meine Bewertung auf der Produktseite). Mit dem K&K Definity wollte ich den Aufwand verringern, nur ein Piezo-Pad, weg von dem preamp am Saitenhalter. Den K&K Definity habe ich umfangreich getestet - unter dem Bass-Stegfuß, unter dem Diskant-Stegfuß, auf der Decke mit Filzpads befestigt. Hier ist mein Ergebnis.
1. Der K&K Definity hat den gleichen, mittigen (kratzende Bogengeräusche) Piezo-Klang - geht nur mit EQ.
2. Einziger Vorteil: die dünne, flexible Piezo-Folie passt sich gut der gewölbten Cellodecke an (z. B. unter den Stegfüßen).
3. Hauptnachteil: der Sensor ist sehr anfällig bezüglich Störungen (Berührung durch Finger) und Brummen - mein Exemplar hatte einen Brumm-Wackelkontakt - zurückschicken ging nicht mehr. Ich habe ihn zerlegt: keinerlei Abschirmung der Folie, die Abschirmung des Kabels ist nur an der Klinkenbuchse auf Masse gelötet. Die Klinkenbuchse ist zu groß, zu schwer und sollte besser schwarz sein.
Also: ich suche weiter und werde weitere finanzielle Verluste erleben . . . . .
