Karl Höfner H225 GG V 4/4, very nice violin.
Anonymous 25.10.2015
I have now played my new violin for 3 days (approx 12 hours in total). The strings have now settled, and it is lovely to play, very mellow and warm sound, especially on the G- and D-strings compared to my cheaper violin. Perfect response, it almost feels like it plays by it self. The violin didn't come exactly as on the specification, it has ebony pegs and ebony chinrest, but that is OK, because I think it looks better with ebony than with rosewood. Yes, I am very satisfied.

Love it , one thing though...

I love this violin I have it over a year now , its a great value instrument in the "master" range I also believe the higher priced instruments are nothing special when compared to this.

However!!!

After a few months I noticed that there was some paper inside the violin , which I managed to remove. Turned out it was a bit of a newspaper . For such a great instrument its baffling the Luther would be so careless about this.

Other than that its an amazing violin.
