What a great bit of gear!

I've had this amp for about three weeks now and for the price it is fantastic.

The clean channel itself has some very usable tones but can be a bit dry sounding on its own. Luckily this awesome amp has an effects loop so a bit of delay in there does the trick for me. The clean channel is also a great pedal platform taking OD pedals really well. This makes it really versatile.

The OD channel is great. Awesome tones from low gain all the way up to hard rock territory. It's not a modern high gain amp by any means - this thing suits classic rock and blues really well.

It is also really loud - the overdrive channel is louder than the clean channel making it a bit annoying switching between the two channels and having to readjust, but that's really a minor thing.

I gave the sound 4 starts and not 5 because the clean channel is a bit dry and good, but not great. The overdrive channel is quite bright, but I like a brighter sound!

Great little amp.....Just one thing tough. Pay Heed America and Canada

First off the pros. The Jackman model has a British vibe (on purpose) to the sound. A really nice dirty sound. The clean is nice maybe a bit bright but not crystaline. Definitely one designed for use with pedals.
The con, and this is amed squarely at the US and Canadian viewers. The 93 dollars US seems like a great price nad it is. The thing is that with Thomann being primarily a European retailer the amps ONLY COME with an E.U. standard power supply. Also the packaging took a bit of a beating in it's trans-Atlantic journey. With the wrong power supply, so I couldn't even test for function upon reciept. Thomann DOES NOT sell a US/Canada power supply so you have to drop another $30-40 on one, when you find one. Bringing your cost near or above what you will be able to find it on (USA) Amazon.
Now the folks at Thomann were great. I sent photos of the damaged unopened package and the power supply delemma and they really stepped up and took very good care of me.
But in this particular instance I recommend you buy a Joyo Jackmann, just buy it form a US based seller.

Surprisingly good

It really gives you that "tube" sound feeling. Of course it will not sound the same as a JCM800, but for the price range it is very good. The drive responds well to the dynamics of your playing. It can also get very loud.

Pros:
Nice construction in metal case;
Good sound quality;
Transparent clean tone;
Killer overdrive;
So small you can fit it in any bag;

Cons:
The cab simulator of the headphone output is not good.
