Good cymbal set for the price
Canis rufus, 24.12.2018
I had got these cymbals along with Traps drum set, and use them when rehearsing with my band. Long story short: it is a decent set of cymbals in that price range.

Pros:
1. The ride. It is clearly the best of the pack. It has a very nice ring and chime to it, and the bell has a good tonal quality to it.
2. The crash sounds really nice, has a good frequency, without any unnecessarily long decay.
3. The set is not too heavy to carry around.

Cons:
1. The hi-hats sound a little rough to my ears. I like my hi-hats a little loose, and these ones are not the best in such a configuration.
2. Would be cool if there was a also a small splash in the set (but then, maybe that's just me being a bit greedy :P)

Conclusion:
Would recommend it to drummers who want a decent set without spending a lot.

Nice starter pack
Ivan7165, 05.10.2015
This Millenium HL3 Standard Cymbal Set came together with my MILLENIUM MX700 "STAGE 1" PRO drumset. Though due to it's price I wasn't hoping for a good sound quality of the set, I was pleasantly surprised of how they sound in real life. Of course the sound can't compete with hi-end brand cymbals, but it is pretty decent and not only as a "beginner" cymbal set. Crash has a nice pitch and good sustain and the ride sound great and is pretty loud too. Hi-hat gives away a nice crisp sound. Currently I use the set not only for practice but when performing as well and haven't heard of anyone complaining about the sound yet. All in all - decent sound and good quality makes this cymbal set a great value for money!

Great for improving a beginner's kit
RichardFK, 01.02.2018
Bought these for my son who started playing the drums about 8 months ago. The cymbals that came with his cheap kit were hopeless (like old biscuit-tin lids) so I thought these would be a good way to improve his kit without spending too much money.

I was not disappointed - these sounds pretty darn good, especially for the money. The hi-hats are clear and crisp, the ride doesn't become crashy and the crash has nice definition. Volume wise, they're loud enough but with a moongel pad on the crash and ride, they're easily tamed for a domestic setting. Time will tell how long they last, but ours have had a young lad knock lumps out of them most days and there's barely a mark on them.

They obviously won't compare to big-brand cymbals that are 5-6 times the price. But, if you're a beginner looking to improve their first kit, or you're a gigging/recording musician who wants to keep their expensive cyumbals for gigs/recording, I'd happily recommend to these to you/

First time

Though i'm a guitarist I wanted to branch out and give drums a go. My local practise room has a drum kit set up, all you need is to take your cymbals and sticks. I didn't want to waste money by buying really expensive cymbals as I wasn't sure if I wanted to pursue drumming, so I opted for these until I made a choice.

Though not a drummer I was really happy with the quality of them. The crash creates a fantastic sound, and the ride too is fantastic. I purchased them alongside a Thomann cymbal bag and they fit perfect into it. After almost 4 months they're still going strong. Overall i'm really happy, and if you're looking into getting into drumming then these are the way to go :)
